²⁹ Near the boundary with Manasseh there were Beth-shean and the towns dependent upon it, Taanach and the towns dependent upon it, Megiddo and the towns dependent upon it, and Dor with its towns. The descendants of Joseph, the son of Israel, dwelt in them.

³⁰ Asher. The sons of Asher were Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, Beriah, and their sister Serah.

³¹ The sons of Beriah were Heber and Malchiel, who was the father of Birzaith.
